When should I switch to adult cat food?

Once your kitten is fully grown, you can switch to adult food. Until then, veterinarians recommend only feeding them kitten food!

Most cats are ready for adult food after a year of life. The size and age of your cat will determine how many calories and what level of nutrition is suitable for your cat.
