Why is it important to know my dog's age?

Age is more than a number! Knowing your pet’s age helps us identify your pet's life stage.

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) recognizes five life stages for dogs and cats:
- kitten / puppy
- young adult
- mature adult
- senior
- end-of-life

Knowing where your pet is in their life journey is important because it informs nutrition choices, weight management, behavior, environmental needs, oral health, vaccinations, and accurate disease diagnosis.

Heavy metal including lead, zinc and mercury
Fertilizers and other garden-related products
