Why is my cat drinking so much water?

If you notice a dramatic upswing in your cat’s water consumption, it could indicate an underlying health issue, including diabetes, kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, or pregnancy.

It is wise to speak with your veterinarian if you notice that your cat has been excessively thirsty. A dry climate and specific medications could also cause an increase in thirst.
